First, try your shoes on a clean surface such as a carpet or towel. We recommend that you try your shoes on at the end of the day when your feet are at their largest.
Check for gaps anywhere. Your shoes should be snug but not pinch. Mavette's are made of genuine Italian leathers and suedes and will stretch and mold to your feet with each wear. If your shoes fit loosely, your muscles will need to work overtime to keep your feet in your shoes.
Next check your heel placement. The heel of the shoe should be directly under your own heel. Too far forward or back will throw off your balance as well as decrease the effectiveness of our comfort technology in your shoes.
Wiggle your foot back and forth whilst digging the heel into the ground. The heel should be firm and have no give at all. There should not be much wiggle room for your toes but your toes should not be squashed.
Last, try taking a few steps. Your heel should not lift up out of the shoe but remain properly positioned in the heel cup.
